QuickTime 7 Pro

I use QuickTime 7 Pro a lot in my work and recommend it highly.

QuickTime 7 Pro is an unlocked version of QuickTime Player 7. You can download QuickTime Player 7 here: http://www.apple.com/quicktime/what-is/ (a special version may be needed for Windows users - but I'm not really sure. Try this if the above link does not work for you: QuickTime 7.7.1 for Windows http://support.apple.com/kb/DL837)

Note: QuickTime 7 Pro is an enhanced version of QuickTime Player 7 with features that are unlocked when you pay the registration fee ($29.99 US). I've seen access keys for QT pro on Youtube:

Unfortunately, QuickTime Player 7 no longer comes with Mac OS X in Snow Leopard (10.6) except as an optional software add-on. As an option to downloading QT7 from the link above I made a video Installing QuickTime 7 on Snow Leopard Mac OS X 10.6 to shows how you can install QuickTime Player 7 from your apple install disks following these online instructions from apple: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3678. You will need the original Snow Leopard System Install DVD. Snow leopard does come with a version of QuickTime called QuickTime X, but this version does not have the fabulous features I need and use. I'm not sure about Lion.

Ambrosia Snapz Pro X

Automator

Quickie

quickiephotoosx.sit - This shareware application called Quickie is something I use to resize images. A licence for it is no longer available but the demo period for trying it still works.

BBedit

BBedit_Lite_6.1_for_OS_X.zip - This freeware application called BBEdit is something I use to edit text for html. It is a freeware lite version and is no longer available but it still works.

File Deamon

file_deamon.zip - This freeware application called File Deamon is something I use to rename files. It is particularly useful for nenaming files in reverse sequential order. It is old and doesn't like the newer OS X very much, but it still works.
